Hello everyone,

 

As you are all eagerly anticipating, the first fundraiser this year is the hockey pool.  This is now set up and ready for you to log onto and enter your team picks.

You have until October 23, 2017 @ 11:00pm for your chance to choose 4 teams for the hockey pool.  At registration each family paid $40 for 4 drafts.  You can choose to sell these draft options to family and friends or keep them for yourself but you will need to keep the following team name format in mind: family last name followed by the numbers 1-4.  For example EDWARDS1, EDWARDS2, EDWARDS3, EDWARDS4.  **If there is more than one family with the same last name, please also include first initial of parent after the surname (EDWARDSM1)**If you sell your draft to someone, please assign them a number from your grouping of 4 and make sure they use your last name.  Please remember that this is 4 per family and not 4 per minor hockey player.  Unrecognized names or naming formats will be deleted and ineligible for the win.  No late entries will be accepted.  The pool will close at 11:00pm on October 23, 2017.  

 

For anyone that has never participated in an online hockey draft and is unsure what the process is, please refer to the following:

 

1. Click on the link http://www.officepools.com/invite/classic/m/HGBRT6BF
2. Then login in using last years email & password or set up a new user account.
3. At the top you will see a box for team name (this is where you will name your team(s) as indicated above eg EDWARDS1)  
4. You will see 24 boxes.  Each of these boxes contains forwards, defensemen and goalies.  You will need to select one player from each box to create your team.  For those of us that don’t know one player from another there is also a button at the top of the boxes that says “Pick Random Team” that you can click and the site will pick your team for you if you like.
5. Once you have selected a player from each of the 24 boxes you will see a Save Team option on the bottom right.
6. Click on Save Team.
7. You will do this 4 times to fill in all your drafts, or of course, pass on this information to friends or family.  You can use the same “account” information for all 4 of your drafts if you so choose.
